Jacqueline holds an MSc. in Sustainable Development from the University of Sussex, UK, and BSc.Water and Environmental Engineering from Egerton University. She is also an Associate Expert at VNG International and Waterprof Netherlands (Gender and WASH Governance). She has served on
the VNG International Advisory Board for the Inclusive Decision Making at the Local Level Programme implemented in 8 countries in Africa and the MENA Region. She currently serves on the United Cities and Local Governments CIB Gender Working Group and VNGI GESI Working Group. She has also served on the board of the Women in Water & Sanitation as Chairperson Capacity Building and Research Sub-Committee. Jacqueline has studied Water Policy Analysis for Multi- Stakeholder Systems at the Delft IHE, Multi-level Governance at The Hague Academy and WASH & Behaviour Change at International Water Center, Griffith University. Her work and passion revolve around strengthening WASH institutions and providing technical assistance for inclusive and sustainable WASH service delivery in Africa while consulting for various organizations including but not limited to GFA Consulting, Waterprof, and The Hague Academy for Local Governance.
